In an announcement on Monday, the
Tezos Foundation announced that it has entered into a partnership with B9Lab to create Tezos specific educational and training programs. The B9 lab is a leading provider of blockchain education and training programs. Its services range from an online academy to advisory and talent services for small startups and large enterprise clients. Established in 2014, the
b9Labs community has grown in excess of 13000 students, including 1,300 developers, spanning across 125 countries. Stating about the online academy, Damien Ducourty said,
“We are excited to work with the Tezos Foundation to bring high-quality education to the Tezos community and beyond.” According to the blog,
“The courses in development include a free introductory Tezos 101 as well as a paid developer course. Both courses are scheduled to be launched in 2019. The Tezos Foundation will also sponsor 250 talented developers to participate in a Tezos Blockstars program to be coordinated by B9 Labs." All the developers who are interested in joining this course which will include free admission to the “Tezos Developer Course” will complete an initial hacker rank code before asked to join the Blockstars Cohort.
“B9lab is a leader in training programs for blockchain projects and we are excited to partner with them,” said Ryan Jesperson, President of the Tezos Foundation. The foundation is also in talks with a number of different training programs to expand the offerings available to the Tezos community and larger blockchain ecosystem. It will formally announce additional partners once it has completed its due diligence and onboarding process. With an aim to support the Tezos protocol and ecosystem, the Tezos Foundation aims to fund initiatives imagined by scientists, researchers, developers, entrepreneurs, and enthusiasts alike. Earlier this year in September, the Tezos mainnet was ultimately launched after the beta net period experienced a smooth completion.
