BAT is now listed on Coinbase.com and Coinbase apps

In a blog post on Thursday, Coinbase announced that the Basic Attention Token (BAT) will be available on Coinbase.com and in both the Android and iOS apps. According to the post, customers can now start buying, selling, sending, receiving, or storing BAT, along with major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, Litecoin, USDC, and ZRX. Coinbase has mentioned that BAT will not be available for the New York population initially, but will be available in other jurisdictions. According to Coinbase, most of its customers are asking questions regarding the number of assets on the platform. In order to answer their queries, Coinbase has come up with a new process for listing assets. “The new process begins with a form for issuers to submit assets for listing at Coinbase, which we will evaluate against our digital asset framework. The application form and the digital asset framework will be regularly updated, and our form will indicate the latest version of the framework we are evaluating against,” said Coinbase in an earlier blog post According to a recent report by BC Focus, the San Francisco based crypto exchange accepted the inbound transfers of BAT before making it available for trading on Coinbase.com and on its Android and iOS apps.
