She(256), a novel idea to encourage women in cryptocurrency space
She(256), a University of California, Berkeley-led initiative, is striving to encourage more women in the cryptocurrency domain, which is like many other fields, has high levels of gender disparity. It “presents the opportunity for a professional and young student or early-career young adult to learn from each other serving as guides and allies”. Many of you have been the most important mentors and influences in my career. Program guidelines entail connecting via phone or in person 1 - 3 times per month, and maintaining communication through email, message etc. She(256) events are a great time to sync up in person. You are matched your mentor/mentee for a year and we encourage you to continue to maintain communication after that!
